Nikkei +3.30% is 1 Oct and Hang Seng +0.37% is 30 Sep.

The 10-year added 3 basis points.

Gatún

Gatún is a lake that is also drinking water for Panama City. Miraflores and Pedro Miguel spend the same lake. The Canal Authority publishes a draft restriction when the lake is low. A dry year is a draft notice, not a transit-time slide. Danaos is a public face of the queue that starts at the lake. Politics on the isthmus do not refill Gatún. The Authority's draft notices from 2023 and 2024 are the record. Schoolbooks describe a cut through a continent. The working system is a watershed and a booking slot. Until a full year posts with no draft restriction, the lake is the object that moves first. A longer wait at either anchorage is still the same lake.

EirGrid paused new data-centre connections in the Dublin region. Halls off the M50 already run. A new campus can wait on a letter while a tax slide still looks good. Apple is a public face of that queue. The next Irish product is a letter from EirGrid, not a tax rate. A country can be good at attracting buildings and late at lighting them. Meath and Dublin are not the same connection date. A named Irish campus that discloses a live interconnect, or a named refusal, is the document that would change the read. Until then the watt sits on paper. Halls drink power like a small city. The grid operator answers with a queue, a study, or a pause.

Air-defence doctrine assumed the incoming object was expensive. The incoming object is often a small airframe with a camera and a cheap motor. Lockheed builds PAC-3 in Camden. RTX builds Patriot in Andover. Each shot removes a round that took months to build. Powder, seekers and canisters have lead times. A destroyer has a fixed number of Mk 41 cells. Reload at sea is still mostly a study. The drone is a workshop job. The scarce object is the interceptor that can be built again after the first one is gone. Rheinmetall in Unterlüß and BAE in the UK can take the work. A hall that is quiet at 7am is not producing. Huntsville still packs the American interceptor work.
