Texas Instruments printed 4.365 billion of Analog on the 22 July 8-K

Days of inventory were 196. The 8-K did not print a book-to-bill.

Texas Instruments trades as TXN. It closed 258.44 on 4 September. Analog is a catalog. A 300mm analog fab is not a GPU cycle. It is a design-win that lasts a board generation and a shelf that already holds the part. The 22 July 8-K did not print a book-to-bill. Do not invent one.

It is a catalog and a shelf.

Exhibit 99 to that 8-K put second-quarter revenue at 5.463 billion dollars, up 23 percent from 4.448 billion, and up 13 percent sequentially. Analog printed 4.365 billion, up 26 percent from 3.452 billion, with operating profit 1.992 billion, 45.6 percent of the analog line. Embedded Processing printed 788 million, up 16 percent. Other printed 310 million, down 2 percent. Analog is about 80 percent of the print. The catalog is the book.

The 10-Q for the quarter ended 30 June says Analog has two product lines, Power and Signal Chain, and that analog chips condition real-world signals and manage power. Both lines grew. Signal Chain led. The same filing names the markets: industrial, automotive, data center, personal electronics, communications equipment. A power part or a converter that wins a board stays until that board is respun. That is a generation, not a shipping season. Switching analog vendors is a requalification. Treating Analog as a GPU SKU is how a reader misses the win.

Three large-scale 300mm wafer fabs sit in Sherman, Texas, and Lehi, Utah. The 10-Q says a chip on a 300 millimeter wafer costs about 40 percent less than the same chip on 200 millimeter. CHIPS Act direct funding is up to 1.6 billion dollars, of which 630 million had been received. Trailing-twelve-month capital expenditures in the 8-K were 3.3 billion. That is a cost structure and a cleanroom. The catalog sits on the board after the foundry queue, the memory stack, and the custom rack ship.

The channel that holds inventory is in the same 10-Q. Strategy: build ahead of demand the broad-based products used across a diverse set of applications and customers, with low risk of obsolescence. Inventory was 4.61 billion dollars, down 199 million from the end of 2025. Days of inventory 196, against 222 at year-end. Finished goods 1.731 billion. Work in process 2.407 billion. Factory loadings move to keep that shelf. A 196-day catalog is the product. A GPU cycle is someone else's lead time.

Friday 4 September Technology was down 1.51 percent. The S&P 500 closed 7,718.6, down 0.38 percent, with 42 percent advancing. The Nasdaq 100 closed 29,544.2, up 0.21 percent. NVIDIA printed 230.36 on the owned scan of 5 September, up 5.9 percent. Micron printed 1,016.59, up 9.0 percent. Broadcom closed 357.90, down 3.0 percent. A mixed average can hide a split. A 258.44 analog close next to a GPU bid can hide it twice. The 8-K was industrial, automotive, and data-center analog. The share is a multiple. They are not one object.

Ignore a sentence that treats 300mm analog capacity as a GPU build. Ignore a sentence that treats 258.44 as proof the catalog emptied or filled. Ignore a sentence that prints a book-to-bill the 8-K and the 10-Q did not carry. The 10-Q names a semiconductor cycle as supply, demand, and inventories building and depleting. Analytics24 does not own a Texas Instruments book-to-bill series. Until a filing prints one, leave the cell blank.

Acquisition charges of 17 million sat in Other in the quarter. Do not recast a wireless socket as the Power and Signal Chain book.

The issuer does not publish a book-to-bill. Third-quarter outlook in the same 8-K is revenue 5.65 billion to 6.15 billion. The useful print on the next 8-K is mix: Analog still the larger segment, Power and Signal Chain still both named, inventory still described as built ahead of demand. Analog still about four fifths of the book is.

The 22 July 8-K printed Analog at 4.365 billion dollars, about 80 percent of 5.463 billion. Days of inventory 196. The useful print on the next 8-K is mix: Analog still the larger segment, Power and Signal Chain still both named, inventory still described as built ahead of demand. One GPU session does not spend that catalog. One 258.44 close does not either.

Analog is a catalog.
